Judging About the Photographer Presentations Current Engagements Mentor Workshops Home Base LecknerDesign		My philosophy to judging prints and slides comes from an understanding to the four criteria to judging a work of art: 1. Describing the work, 2. Interpreting the image, 3. Evaluating the presentation, 4. Theorizing on the intent of the piece. Does it evoke a mood, tell a story, have visual impact--- Is it art? In addition, I enjoy commenting on prints and slides in all categories and analyze the work through my own experiences as an art director.
